We created this green roof design in the Five Points neighborhood in Buffalo, NY, using a combination of grasses, sedum, allium and other plants that are suited to a green roof.
This residential project is 500 sq.ft of sedum with 2 grasses, sage, rosemary and prickly pear cactus. It was planted with plugs and cuttings and it took about a year and a half to fill in, and is maturing beautifully. It serves as a laboratory for Green Top and gets plants added and subtracted regularly.
Garden Walkers, here is the plant list for the roof you saw. Thank you very much for visiting during the Buffalo Garden Walk. I hope you enjoyed your visit!
